its been 5 years before my favorite band were disbanded. It was a painful thing to see the band after more than 10 years, will say goodbye..
but, hey...few weeks before, merong nag leak na information that the ERASERHEADS will having their reunion...one band, one night only...
rewind...circa 1993
these four guys, Ely, Raimund, Marcus and Buddy, collectively known as the Eheads (abbr), soar to the airwaves by their hits "Ligaya" and "Pare Ko"...
hindi ako yung type ng person na will love thier music at an early age of 13, but the album "ULTRAELECTROMAGNETICPop" is my first album ever na binili ko, and the rest is history...from Ultra... hanggang Carbon Stereoxide, kinollect ko tlga yung album nila, even Ely's solo project "Wanted Bedspacer", in which is my email address since 2nd yr college, up to Pupil's "Beautiful Machines" and "Wildlife" eh binili ko...that's why I'm very proud of being an ELYtista...
now after na nadisband sila, i still play my Eheads collection sa mp3 player ko...and now their reunion is fast approaching, im very happy na again makikita ko ulit ang banda na kung saan nagpamulat sa akin ng musikang totoo...
the question is, "will they regroup, or it is their way to end their colorful career?"
hanggang sa muli, mabuhay ang NOYPI...Eraserheads FOREVER!
